Last week we stayed busy. Hubster is currently between jobs and we took advantage of his time off by spending time as a family doing things near the house that we usually only get to do on the weekends when I'm not working (which lately isn't often).
Monday we took the kids to the Zoo. Unfortunately we had some behavior issues that caused us to leave early, but the time we did have was fun and a great opportunity for some life long memories and the photos to go with them.
Here's the kids riding a huge turtle sculpture. They thought that was cool.
There was a group of teenagers in front of us taking pictures of each other on this also. Guess it's fun for all ages.
Poor groundhogs. I imagine these "bubbles" feel like giant security cameras to them. Different faces constantly peering at you right where you live. What's not-so-fun for the ground hogs is a blast for everyone else.
A beautiful Eagle ready to hunt.
Like I said. Our trip was cut short. We renewed our family membership, though, so we will have plenty more trips this Summer...if not before.
